Abstract

This article summarizes the conceptual categories and characteristics of traditional ethnic sports, analyzes the core essence of the Chinese national community consciousness, and takes "sharing weal and woe, honor and disgrace, life and death, and destiny" as the core. It elaborates on the value of traditional ethnic sports in forging the essence of the sense of community for the Chinese nation, and proposes a development path for how traditional ethnic sports can strengthen the four characteristics of "sharing weal and woe, honor and disgrace, life and death, and destiny".
