Abstract

In the context of new media technology reshaping the educational ecology, this paper systematically discusses the innovative practice path of short video media in college literature education, starting with the adaptation of foreign literature classics on the Tiktok platform. By deconstructing the diversified adaptation types such as short video story interpretation, animation adaptation, poetry recitation and book recommendation, this paper reveals the propagation characteristics of Tiktok platform based on multimodal narrative, participatory communication and algorithm empowerment. Short video adaptation reconstructs classic interpretive dimensions through hypertext narrative, relying on the teaching paradigm of "embodiment - interaction - productivity", effectively enhancing students' depth of text understanding and ability of cross-cultural empathy.
