The national and local governments have paid more attention to the construction of ecological civilization, and ethnic regions have responded positively and vigorously implemented the strategy of "ecological civilization construction". Taking Ganzi Prefecture in ethnic regions as an example, this paper analyzes and explains that the construction and development of ecological civilization needs the escort of environmental audit, points out the shortcomings and problems of environmental audit in ethnic regions, and discusses how to better help the construction of ecological civilization in ethnic areas through environmental audit.
