Abstract

The article touches on the issues of forming family values in the digital era. Parents today take an increasingly detached position in matters of raising the younger generation, shifting responsibility to various social institutions, primarily those belonging to the education system. This position of parents in some cases is determined by social attitudes and the system of value orientations inherent in different generations, which is confirmed in research on the theory of generations. Based on the research, the author of the article attempts to highlight issues of the development of subjectivity in parental positions on the formation of family values in the digital era. An important factor in this process is the trend of total digitalization of modern society. Digital technologies, penetrating into all spheres of human life without exception, have both positive and extremely negative consequences in the formation of the value system of the younger generation.
