Liu Guyu, known as the "Confucianism Master of Guanzhong," was a prominent educator and thinker in modern Shaanxi history, standing as a leader in terms of his ideas, discourse, and influence. During the social transformation of modern Shaanxi, Liu Guyu not only promoted the educational and cultural transformation of the region by establishing new-style schools and disseminating reformist ideas, but also actively participated in local affairs, contributing to the modernization of Shaanxi's economy and politics. Studying his thoughts and practices not only helps to understand Liu Guyu and the regional historical development of Shaanxi but also provides an important case for research on the social transformation of modern China.
